TRU has a competitive curling program run out of the Kamloops Curling Club (https://kamloopscurlingclub.com). Interested curlers should be members of the TRU Curling League (https://trucla.ca) and the TRUSU Curling Club (https://trusu.ca/club/trusu-curling-club/).
Program selection starts in October with open tryouts held starting (Oct 6, 2025 @ 7:30 PM) during the TRU Curling League Monday evening at 7:30 pm. Coaching is provided. If you are interested please contact (info@trucla.ca). You will be asked to complete an application form. More information also available at our opening day, all welcome (Sept. 29, 2025 @ 7:30 PM)
Final teams will be selected in the Fall through our team selection process. The Men’s and Women’s teams will compete at the Canada West Curling Championships (Jan. 16-18, University of Alberta) to qualify for the USports/Curling Canada Championships (Feb. 17-21, 2026, University of Regina).
Selected athletes will be expected to practice 2-3 times per week from October through March.
